API 5CT Casing pipe Chemical component

Use:

Tubing is a pipe used to produce fluid or inject fluid into the well, and casing is a steel pipe used for the wall of oil and gas Wells in oil exploitation, which plays the role of fixing the wellhead and protecting the tubing.

Technical standard:

API 5CT: Casing and tubing specification

API Spec 5B: Specification for the machining, measurement, and inspection of pipe threads in casings, tubing, and pipelines

API TP 5C3: Casing, tubing and pipelines used as casing or tubing tubing formulas and calculations and casing and tubing performance tables Technical report

ISO 13678: Petroleum and natural gas – Evaluation and testing of thread grease for casing, tubing and line pipes

Grade:

ASTM steel pipe can be divided into different steel grades according to the strength of the steel itself, namely J55, K55, N80, L80, C90, T95, P110, Q125, V150 and so on. Different well condition, well depth, using different grades. In the corrosive environment, the casing itself is also required to have corrosion resistance. API seamless steel pipe also requires casing to have impact resistance in places with complex geological conditions.

Tubing size: OD×WT 1.900 “~4.500” ×0.125 “~0.630”

Casing specifications: OD x WT 4.500 “~16.00” x 0.205 “~0.660”
