Blind Flange
Blind flange is a solid flange as shown below. The purpose of these is to block off a section of pipe or a nozzle on a vessel that is not used. (A nozzle is typically a pipe coming out of a vessel and is usually flanged so it can be connected to valves or piping). Many times a nozzle will be blanked off with a blind flange for pressure tests in a plant, or simply because the customer does not need all the nozzles that were supplied on the tank.
Description
The formal name of the blind disk is Flange cover, and some are also called blind flange or tube plug. It is a flange without a hole in the middle, which is used to seal the pipe opening. The function is the same as that of the head and the tube cap, but the blind seal is a detachable sealing device, and the seal of the head is not ready to be opened. There are many types of sealing surface, including plane, convex surface, concave and convex surface, mortise and groove surface and ring connection surface. Materials are carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, copper, aluminum, and plastic CPVC, PPH, PVDF and so on.

Protective function

Factory container packing

Anti-rust oil coating packaging
- Purpose: To form a layer of antirust oil film on the surface of steel and enhance the antirust ability.
- Specific description: evenly cover the steel surface with anti-rust oil by brushing or soaking to form a durable protective layer.
Metal Corner Protection Packaging
- Purpose: To protect the corners and edges of steel products from damage during handling and transportation.
