Threadolet is one of integrally Reinforced Connection Branch, which provides an outlet from a larger pipe to a smaller one. Outlet connects onto main pipe by welding, and for branches, it has a female threaded connection to mate.

Description

Steel threadolets are pipe fittings used to branch off a smaller diameter pipe from a larger one. They are designed to provide a strong and leak-proof connection.

Straight threadolets

Straight threadolets have the same diameter for the branch and the connection to the main pipe.Straight threadolets are commonly used when the branch pipe has the same diameter as the connection point on the main pipe

Reducing threadolets.

Reducing threadolets have a smaller diameter for the branch compared to the connection to the main pipe.Reducing threadolets are employed when a smaller diameter branch is needed from a larger main pipe, for example, to control the flow rate or to connect to equipment with a smaller inlet/outlet.

Threadolet have a female thread connection in its bore section that screwed to the fittings, it is manufactured as standard MSS MS-97. It typically is in the size range of 1/2″ to 2” and is welded over a hole either drilled or burned in the pipe.

Branch outlet pipe fittings are providing an outlet from a larger pipe to a smaller one. They are used to instead of connected fittings such as reducing tees, reinforcing plates, and reinforced pipe sections.
