Hot rolled products of structural steels – Part 2: Technical delivery conditions for non-alloy structural steels | |
Classification | Carbon steel |
Performance | Malleability |
Introductions | ① This standard describes the technical supply conditions of flat and long products and semi-finished products, and specifies the groups and grades of hot rolled non-alloy high-quality steel flat and long products according to the chemical composition table and the mechanical properties table under the clear supply terms. This standard also makes supplementary instructions for three types of engineering steel. This standard does not apply to hollow profile structures and pipes. ② The technical supply conditions apply to: – For long form products S460JR, J0, J2, K2 and S500J0, thickness ≥3mm and ≤150mm; – For quality grade JR, J0, J2 and K2 sheet products, thickness ≤400mm; – Thickness ≤250mm for plates and long products of other strength and quality grades. ③ Steel products described in this standard have not been heat treated, except for products supplied under +N(normalizing state) conditions. Stress relief annealing is allowed. Products supplied under +N conditions may be thermally formed and/or normalized after delivery. ④ Semi-finished products converted into rolled products according to the requirements of this standard need to be in accordance with the agreement at the time of ordering. The chemical composition needs to be negotiated at the time of ordering, but it should also be within the scope of the chemical composition list. The grade and product form of special requirements should be explained at the time of ordering. |

FN= not allowed to rimming steel; FF= completely killed steel ① Nominal thickness t>100mm, C content is determined by agreement ② The content of P and S for long products is allowed to increase by 0.005% respectively ③ If the treated steel changes the sulfide form and the minimum Ca content is 0.002%, the maximum S content of the long product is increased by 0.015% after negotiation to improve the mechanical properties. |
