ASTM A53 and ASME SA53 is intended for mechanical and pressure applications and is also acceptable for ordinary uses in steam, water, gas and air lines. It is suitable for welding and for forming operations involving coiling, bending, and flanging, subject to certain qualifications.
A671 Pipe specification covers electric-fusion-welded steel pipe with filler metal added, fabricated from pressure vessel quality plate of several analyses and strength levels and suitable for high-pressure service at atmospheric and lower temperatures. Heat treatment may or may not be required to attain the desired properties or to comply with applicable code requirements. Supplementary requirements are provided for use when additional testing or examination is desired.
En 10025 Pipes manufacturer produce these carbon steel pipes with carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorus, and sulfur content. The carbon content is 0.2% of the total weight. The EN 10025 Steel Pipes is made in seamless and welded conditions. The difference between the two is that the welded pipes have larger diameters and high absolute roughness where the En 10025 Seamless Pipes have low absolute roughness and smaller diameters.
High-frequency welded pipes are generally straight-slit, but straight-slit welded steel pipes are not necessarily high-frequency welded. The high-frequency straight-slit electric resistance welded steel pipe is formed by the skin effect and the proximity effect of the high-frequency current after the hot-rolled coil plate is formed by the molding machine, and the edge of the tube blank is heated and melted, and pressure welding is performed under the action of the pressing roller to realize the production. The high-frequency resistance welded steel pipe is different from the ordinary welded pipe welding process. The weld is made of the base material of the steel strip body, and the mechanical strength is better than that of the general welded pipe. The surface is smooth, high precision, low cost, and has low weld seam height, which is beneficial to the coating of 3PE anti-corrosion coating
Galvanized welded pipe is hot dip galvanized on the basis of welded steel pipe (that is, the zinc is dissolved in the zinc pot, and then the steel pipe is immersed in liquid zinc for a period of time, and then cooled and dried). The inner and outer walls of the steel pipe are simultaneously attached with a zinc layer. Galvanized pipes are generally used for conveying low pressure fluids (i.e. water, liquid gas).
Longitudinal submerged arc welded is produced by using a single medium and thick plate as the raw material, pressing (rolling) the steel plate in a mold or forming machine into a tube blank, using double-sided submerged arc welding, and expanding the diameter.
SSAW pipe full name is Spiral Submerged arc welding pipe. The pipe is formed by spiral submerged arc welding technology which is called SSAW pipe. Generally speaking, when it comes to the same standard and steel grade, the price of SSAW pipe is cheaper or lower than ERW pipe and LSAW pipe. The strength is higher than the straight seam welded pipe.
